It is easier to remember the true meaning of Christmas as an adult.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, God the Son.

The angel said to them,

"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."

And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:

"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."

(Luke 2:10-14)

With love in Christ.

The meaning of Christmas isn't changed in me , the only thing that is changed is on how things have changed since I became an adult ,I now see with the eyes of a grown up the value that is behind Christmas and life itself.

I see that there are people with no where to go ,no homes ,no families,no jobs, sickness, tragedies ,as a child I didn't know about all of this and now that I do, I wish that everyone will be blessed this Christmas Season and always.
Merry Christmas to you all!

Oh god yes. I remember when i was little and the build up for xmas was great. We all used to watch all the xmas movies the week running upto xmas and it was really homely and well christmasy. I think they start far to early with the build up which usually starts in November, there is too many reality tv on and not enough traditional films on, such as the snowman, christmas carol etc. I am only 25 too!!! I have a four year old little boy and i am trying to make it as magical as possible, just how i remember it. x x x x

When I was a kid, I look forward to Christmas because I would be able to receive a lot of gifts/toys/chocolates!
Today, I still look forward to Christmas but for a different reason now.. I actually look forward in giving gifts to the people i love... my pocket does not, though. *wink*

well, I used to think Christmas is all about holiday and gifts and parties. but now as I'm older (more mature, hopefully) I realize that Christmas is really about giving and forgiving, reminds us again to think about other people, and of course, realize that Christmas is the birthday of our Lord! :D
