I avoid work parties like the plague! One false move becomes your identity! I like to separate work from my social life. I work with a lot of drama queens. Yes, the medical field is much like Grey's anatomy.
BUT...if you work with good people, I say go!

Put a smile on your face, go to the party and behave yourself. This is a part of your career whether you like it or not.

Well yeah.
Some people wouldn't because of drinking and making a fool of themselves.
So unless you drink alot and get drunk easily go to the party.
Its a great way to impress your boss.
