disconnected internal wireless installed dlink wireless adaptor now can't get internet when wife has her c on

Question

My internal wireless quit working right so I had it disconnected added a d-link wireless card. NOW!!!! if I am on the internet my wife can not get a connection to the internet, or if she is on I can't get a connection.
She is still running the internal wireless connector.
Any ideas out there??????

Your router's Channel setting is likely set to "Auto" and each PC cuts the other off when they force the router to switch to a different channel.

Configure your WiFi ROUTER to use a Specific Channel. Then, set each PC to use only the same channel number.

The specific "How To" instructions should be in the respective User Manuals.
