No. If I'm honest I would really want to live past 40. I hate the idea of getting old, I think 40 wouldn't be too bad. Obviously I'm likely to change my mind the older I get.
Getting to be 100 would be awful and you'd either be stuck in some old people's home, you'd have outlived most of the people you've ever known, it's unlikely that you're husband/wife would still be alive. There'd be the chance of senility, dementia, incontinence - all sorts of crap. Plus society has no patience for the elderly.

If my old engine down there is still in good working condition,,,why not...
For 100 years old,,,I'll just use one big humongous candle like a 2 feet long candle to symbolize the age,,,
Blowing out 100 small candles at 100 years old will probably kill me,,,,

Ain't gonna happen but it would be pretty cool to se all the changes in the world.
My Gran is nearly 100 and she has seen 2 comets (Hayleys), 2 World Wars and massive changes in technology. Just hink what the next 100 years will bring!

No need; at that point, you get one of those coffee table 3-wick candles for the top of your cake; that usually does it. And at 100, you'd have the sense of humor to really appreciate the absurdity of the whole affair.

It would depend on my quality of life. If I was like my great grandma, than yes I would. She lived to be 102 and sat out on the front porch with her corncob pipe and jug of moonshine and was just a happy person. If it was like so many others who lose the quality of life and can't fend for themselves anymore I wouldn't. Hey, how do you do that with the little stars and hearts? I'd really like to know. If you can send me the info so I can learn it to. I think it's just totally awesome.

Only if I didn't have to be around too much longer than my man, and if I wasn't horribly disabled. If I have no husband left and I'm senile and incontinent that sounds like a horrible existence. If I have lots of love left around me and for the most part I have my health, then yes I'd love to.

Sure. As long as I had my health and my mind was clear and I'm not stuck in a nursing home. Lots of people live to 100 now. My greatgrandma just died at 103.

All my grandparents lived to be 100 years old give or take a year or two. I'm likely to live to be a hundred. They all lived active lives right up to the point of death.
