Anybody going abroad and escaping the cold..? cant decide if i want to just get on a plane and leave it all behind for a week or two..?
Do you think its mean to leave the rest of the family to have thier own xmas (IE elderley parents)?

We will be having a traditional lunch, my partners children are at their mum's this year so not too much cooking for me. they will be aroun for pressies later though, After pressies for my two we'll be feeding our horses their xmas lunch then back for a warm and cosy night in front of the telly....... BLISS!
ps, please take care of your parents, I wish my Dad was here to enjoy xmas with me, he died five years ago near xmas, I miss him every day.

My parents are both in a nursing home and I will spend some time there on Christmas. I would rather be on a cruise and if it were an option for me, I would probably do it. I think when we have elderely parents, we do what we can, when we can. Luckily I have brothers and sisters to help out.

We're having my brother in law over for dinner, his girlfriend (my best friend) is away for a few weeks and he's on his own so we're doing dinner at our place and then watching TV, snuggled up with mulled wine.

having a christmas dinner at home with my mum,stepdad, 3 older sisters ( their b/f's), younger brother, nieces and nephew. Then may goto my boyfriends house and have a drink and a laugh xxx

I shall be at home with my wife and stepdaughter, my nephew and his partner will be around at some point and have one or two friends popping in at some point.....
It`s up to you what you do , your conscience will tell you and the other thing is how many more Christmas's`s will your parents be around....

goin 2 my mams for dinner goin 2 my partners mams for tea havin a cozy nite in and then goin out clubbin on boxin day nothin excitin really my sister and her parnter have jetted off 2day and come back from spain on christmas night im so jealous
