Is there any common land in Scotland as there is in the New Forest?
I currently turn out a 'wild' pony in the Forest, I can do this due to having common right attatched to my property .
I am thinking of moving to Scotland in the future, and would love to beable to turn my pony out there...is this possible at all, or would I have to keep her in a field?

No - because the English turfed out all the crofters and turned the highlands into private estates.

There are still commons in Wales - as in England but not, as I understand it, in Scotland. But you'll easily find good grazing.

You should ask this question in the Travel section. There is one for Scotland. You may get better answers. Hope this helps!!
