There is nothing to believe in 'Santa Claus'. This is a kind of fiction or entertainment attached for fun & joy during Christmas eve specially for the children. So far as my knowledge goes, it appeared many years after the Christmas celebration taken place.
In no way, this is not related to the Date of birth of Lord Jesus or Christanity. The appearance of Santa Claus, exchange of Christmas Gifts etc. has been added to Christmas Eve to make it more merry & Joyful occassion to celebrate by all irrespective of their age, religion or country etc.
Therefore, believe that 'Santa Claus' is a CLAUSE for Christmas Eve.
Wishing you a joyful, merry and prayful Christmas -2007.
