its possible that any urine test can give a false possitive or negative reading. Especially if your testing too early. But if you folow the directions and you wait till you have definatley missed your period the test is probably right. Blood testing is almost deffinate. I didnt have any simptoms with my first. The rest of my pregnancys the first sign was sore swollen breast but that can also be a sign that your starting your period. If your unsure or concerened the best thing is to see your doctor.

If you are late with your period and you get a negative pregnancy test, and you still feel strongly that you are pregnant, wait a few days and test again. If it is still negative, seek a doctor for a blood test. I was 3 weeks late with my period when I discovered I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I "knew" the whole time that I was pregnant, turned out I had ovulated late and so I was not as far along as I had suspectd. This is not uncommon. I knew I was pregnant by having any combination of thesae factors: tender breasts, heightened sense of smell, nausea in the evening, bloated stomach, fatigue. I did experience morning sickness with all my kids but it never really started until after I had confirmed pregnancy, maybe around 6 weeks or so? Also the nausea in the evening I experienced was more like, dinner time would come and suddenly I'd feel ill and not want to eat. I did not feel so much like I'd throw up, just felt ill.

I knew I was pregnant both times, well before the test would say I was. It is very possible to test "too early" and get a false negative. The pregnancy tests available over-the-counter are best used after the missed cycle, but the further after they are used, the more likely the results will be accurate.

For me 3 to 4 weeks after the missed cycle was when the test was positive. By then I already knew I was pregnant, the test just confirmed it. As for how I knew, I really don't know. I just "Felt" it.

The tests are generally reliable.

With a few weeks, assuming you've had no periods, check for signs like nausea or tenderness in the breasts. If you wait long enough of course you'll eventually be aware of movement of the baby and weight gain.

Well i got my pregnancy confirmed about 3 weeks ago but i had an idea that i was anyway due to being extremely tired and having really tender breasts with veins running down from my chest to my breasts, also the dreaded nausea.

Pregnancy tests are pretty good these days. Also if U wait long enough you'll get fat and that will be a big clue.

When your belly gets fat and moves around on its own, there is a good chance that we kinda figured out we were pregnant.
