In the last 2000 years, there have only been 50, where there was no war, somewhere. Because of the interconnectedness between the military, the arms business, through the 5000 lobbyists in Washington, politicians, seeking support for re-election, and the voting masses, who want employment; I see little hope for a breakout of peace. War is like a drug, and they are hooked!

Certainly possible. Imagine a post-nuclear holocaust world in which everything is dead but the cockroaches; or maybe deranged groups of semi-humans trying to just survive one more day.
I.e., the kind of place Tacitus might have described: "They made a desert and called it peace".
I think it would be completely possible to have a world without war if the good will of man would always prevail. Doesn't seem very likely tho -- way less likely than the deathworld scenario, in my regretful opinion.

I do truely believe it is possible if people want it.
However for this to occurr people would have to be happy with what they have and not try to take from others.
It will mean that they may have to ignore injustice to keep the (overall) peace.
They may have to concede that there are many religions and not one 'true' religion.
They will have to communicate better.
They will have to find other sources of income (war is profitable).
They will have to stop inventing ways of killing.
No offence to the human race, but we put our individual wants in front of all of humanities. I do not believe there can be no war anywhere in the near future.

It is possible, but not anytime soon. War is an outcome of too many people competing for too few things coupled with leadership that exploits these imbalances to gain power and control.
Over the next few hundred years the population will stabilize and most people's needs will be met. That will make it harder and harder for war mongers to stir things up.
Wars will become battles, battles become skirmishes, skirmishes will become disagreements. One day, without anyone hardly noticing, there will be no war among people of the Earth.
Of course, this path is by no means guaranteed, or even likely. Just possible

War is inevitable, be it on a large scale or a small one, so long as difference exists in the human mind. If you can cure the human condition then you will end the wars.

Wow. I'm not sure where the question starts and ends.
The first half of the first sentence seems to be a statement but, the rest of the question seems to be a series of questions.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to say that it was the butler, in the dining room, with a knife.
