Hey everyone. I'm trying to select a class for my next term and wondering which class I should take between the two. I'm very logical and I love algebra as well as geometry. I've asked my professors what class I should take, and so far I've gotten mixed answers. I know that if I wanted to take some time off from algebra, I would head off into Trig; however, if I want to stay on with some more advance algebra, I'll pick Pre-Cal. I have had experience with both classes inside high school, yet I'm still having a tough time trying to pick which one to take. Greatly appreciated!

The pre-calc is far the better choice, and your course will include some trigonometry as well as algebra and probably analytic geometry. It will prepare you for a calc course, and that is VERY useful. Challenge yourself; you will not regret it!

Trigonometry is a fundamental class. You should digest that first and then eat calculus up! I don't know what pre-calculus is (isn't long division "pre-calculus"?) but trig is an essential. Good luck!
