Sorry that I do not know of a Christian point of view. However the above has gotten his science "facts" wrong. Go to the link for the whole article.
For just a moment, let's say that there is some force from the planets that can affect us here on Earth. What could it be?
Our choices are limited. Planets are big balls of ice, rock, metal, and other stuff. Their ability to affect us is weak because they are pretty far away. As far as we can tell in science, there are only four fundamental forces: gravity, electromagnetism, and two forces called the strong and weak force. Those last two only work (more or less) on the nuclei of atoms and subatomic particles. It's hard to see how they could affect us on a macroscopic scale (the strong force weakens so rapidly with distance that it's essentially gone by the time you're a few billionths of a meter from the source!).
So we're stuck with either gravity or electromagnetism. Let's look briefly at both.
We know quite a bit about how gravity works on large scales, scales like that of the solar system. Basically, the gravity of an object depends on two things: how much mass it has, and how far away it is. The more massive an object, the stronger its gravity. The closer it is, the more its gravity affects you.
That's all well and good, but we really need to put in numbers to analyze it. Why? Because, for example, Jupiter has about 25,000 times the mass of the Moon. That's a lot! But it's also about 1500 times farther away than the Moon at its closest. Which number wins in the game of gravity?
In this case, it's distance, by a long shot. I won't go into details here, because I already wrote up a page about gravity and the planets. But the bottom line is that at best, the gravity from the planets in our solar system is a tiny fraction of the Moon's. So if gravity were the force behind astrology, then the Moon would dominate all the planets combined. Yet it doesn't in any astrologer's horoscope.
So it's not gravity. Could it be electromagnetism?
Gravity depends on mass and distance. Electromagnetism (or just EM) depends on electric charge and distance. The problem here is that most large objects don't have an electric charge! Electric charges come from charged particles like electrons and protons. But opposite charges attract each other so well that it's very rare to find one without the other nearby, which means that a planet is electrically neutral overall.
Some planets, for other reasons, do have magnetic fields. But these fields are only strong near their home planet. Jupiter's field is immense, but Jupiter is so far away it has no real effect on us. Furthermore, the Sun is far and away the largest EM source in the solar system. Its magnetic field directly affects us; when there is a gigantic flare, or other explosions on the surface of the Sun, vast streams of charged particles are sent sleeting out. So if anything, the Sun should be the only source of astrological effects. However, astrologers tend to ignore it or still give the planets the lion's share of the astrological effect on us. Either way, the planets' combined force is miniscule compared to the Sun's. If EM is the force behind astrology, the planets could be safely ignored.
If gravity were the driving force of astrology, the Moon would dominate, but it doesn't. If EM were the driving force, the Sun would dominate, but it doesn't. We've run out of forces!

No my zodiac sign is not accurate to my personality. I am a Leo and I am nothing like my sign. I do not like being the centre of attention and I find anything to do with being on the stage very scary. I prefer small get together to parties. As for being the heart and soul of the party, I am totally the opposite. I am more of a listener than a talker. I am more like my ascendant sign of Capricorn. Other secondary traits are from my sign in moon which is Sagittarius. There is very little the Leo in my.

I had a theory about this, ( the operative word is theory). I m predisposed to believe that gravitational force during embryo gestation could be a possible cause.
Gravity affects every object that is comes into contact with, as the mass of the object increases the forces exerted behave accordingly. The manner in which gravity affects fluid is an acute display of this theory. High and low tide would be the most common example, as the oceans ebb and flow in correlation to the moon gravitational pull. A second example would be a single drop of water... if you ve ever seen video of escaped water in a weightless environment, i.e. inside a space shuttle or space station, one would notice that the droplet tends to be spherical, while lets say rain drops falling from the sky, (depending on the height of the fall) tend to form a tear drop, where the greatest mass of the droplet is concentrated in the direction closest to gravitation pull.
If we surmise that gravity can cause physical change in fluid and matter, then it would be safe to conclude that these same forces during fetal gestation are at work. The human body is composed of 60% water, a fetus in the womb is enclosed in (an average of 800ml) amniotic fluid, So you have an organism that is 60% fluid, gestating in (just under) a quart of fluid, being manipulated by gravitation forces. Also noteworthy is the fact that just as seasons change, caused by the earth tilting on its axis to either move closer or further from the Sun, there can be addition variances in gravity, and even electromagnetic forces during certain times of the year.
Thus I would have to conclude that gravity (and even electromagnetism) will effect any fluid based organism, most profoundly during its gestational cycle.

See, the thing for me is that it's accurate for people I've known - and consistent across signs.
Some people born under the same sign are almost like carbons of one another.
Sure, confirmation bias makes it useless in relation to yourself - but the intriguing part is that it's uncanny WRT other people.

Well its quiet simple really. let me try and explain my reasoning for it, and it is fact based.
the facts are that humans are 90 % water or liquid of some sort. it is also known that the planets pull and move tide flows with affect the sea. high tide low tide etc are all ruled by the magnetic grip of the planets. which am sure you know.
so by applying this magnetic force to the human body at the time of birth will automatically alter the initial make up of the person. but you also have to consider the lifestyle and environment they are born and live through.
generally planets push and pull ones personality to be more inclined to behave in a certain way at the time of birth

Beth,
I'm a Christian and I think that God wants us to find our identity and personality in Him rather than in star signs. I too have been baffled by how accurate some of these zodiac signs are, however it's important to remember that these signs limit people and what they can do. God did not make you according to how lazy or creative you are, He can always enable you to do something you never though possible. By believing that the answers to who you are is based on the stars it becomes a crutch for so many, you find yourself sitting on the couch not working and thinking 'it's ok I'm a Libra, I'm supposed to be lazy'; it's dangerous and you could miss out on a lot. I don't know, I think it's best as a Christian to steer clear of the astrology stuff...I think God wants us to look to Him for the answers not to the sky.

1) It's about relativity. Therefore Albert Einstein formulated the first part of our solution, but he died before he could reunify the sciences. What happens here, happens there.
2) So, how can a ball of chrome and silicium like the moon affect us from above? The answer is by magnetism. Cavendish demonstrated with two balls of lead that mass attracts mass. But why? Is it because of a curve in space, as einstein proposed, before he *failed* in his quest for a unification theory? Or is it simply caused by the bigger amount of charges, needed to make a bigger object? An atom is basically a pile of protons and neutrons surrounded with mobile (and that's important) electrons, doing waves in space, therefore generating tiny amounts of rays. The big balls don't have to move in order to generate big frequencies : they just let the zillions of electrons from their combined atoms on their surface do the waves. Then, what does one zillion times a tiny amount of energy waves make? A BIG WAVE. This happens too in a pool when many swimmers attempt to make a whirlpool by swimming around. With just one swimmer, no big deal. But bring ten swimmers and, aha! We have a whirlpool.
3) Regarding the question asked above: can any wave of energy travel that far? The answer is obviously yes. A higher frequency of wave lenght travels sooner farther. It basically spreads less wide than any wave with a low frequency. Frequency itself is the amount of oscillations in space per second. If you prefer, the level of excitement, which determines among other things how many times per second a fired up male would go back and forth for the sake of posterity, but applied here to energy waves. Any electron can generate ultra high frequencies because of its ultra high speed of revolution and ultra small orbit (the size of a molecule). Hence an ultra large amount of electrons might cumulate to generate quite powerful waves. And there are such waves in spaces (precisely identified as cosmic rays by the nasa and by cadon dators) but they aren't believed to be made by Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
4) Regarding the distance of remote balls like Pluto put against their size: the speed of light in the void is nearly 300 000 kilometers per second. This means 1.2 seconds from the moon to the earth, approximately, and 3 minutes from Mars to the earth. Of course, a ray of lght made with photons might travel quicker than waves made by electrons. Or just at the same speed. In essence light is an indication of wave lenght, and the cosmic rays have no mass --> like light itself. These rays are not caught by our eyes probably since they have frequencies ranging in the post UV scale. The sun precisely produces UV rays but also lower frequencies visible to the naked eye of most humans. Indeed our star burns like a fire and brings red, greeb, blue light, the frequencies of energy waves.
5) To terminate my point, let me ask again the ultimate question. why would a different biology and mind be given to each sign? Reason: the angle of a ray determines its power. At 90o the ray has minimal effect. At 0o, full power. 180o, reversed power. This is based of the sines and cosines used by egyptians before Jesus lived. The planets spin 360o in different amounts of time around the earth and the sun. Therefore the angle of effect for each ball changes continuously. How can we prove that? The disaster of tchernobyl among other things indicated in which ways our human growth patterns are affected by radioactivity (read: waves...). Our spinal cord meanwhile acts quite like a terrestrial pole: it catches electric stimulations and most probably does so with high frequjenciy rays arriving from the sun, to develop organs accordingly. Plants want sun, and animals want plants, or other animals. The relation of energy rays with growth patterns is thus quite obvious. When an atom bomb explodes, mutants are generated for that reason too. There is interference going on against the will of nature. And so does probably the cell phone, and the planets in our solar system, and at a lower scale the largest asteroids.
