There's going to be a Christmas party at school, in a classroom, and I need some ideas as to what games to hold for them. I'm thinking something like musical chairs, but more mature for 8th graders. It can't be a movie, because there's already music.

jeopardy...bingo? monopoly...name that song? oh have them spell out lyrics on the board and you have to guess what song it is....or hang man i dont think that ever gets old...tic tac toe is always fun...i dont know! good luck

Each student to bring a gift to exchange with others. The "spin the bottle" suggestion is also good.

Push back he desks and let them party...they can decide whether or not they wanna dance and just supervise where it goes from there

i heard that a game called pictionary is good
and also heads down thumbs up that was a really cool game

bean bag toss games, softball, kickball(seriously, we all miss kickball) and how about relay races? competition is in the heart of all jr. high kids
