plastic's are non - biodegradable ! which means that it does not decompose, like plants etc............. dumping of these may prevent the natural growth of plants and may even pose of a thread for animals!

I just finished reading "A World Without Us". It says there are 2 billion tons of plastic floating over a million square miles on the Pacific Ocean. Mostly plastic from plastic bags. This has all happened in about 50 years.

That seems like a good reason to ban some plastic at least.

plastic is not biodegradable,it causes clog in the earths's crust and stops growth of plants.sometimes it can act like poison and kill plants.in other words we should ban plastic because it is harmful to the earth.

I dunno...why should we? It's recyclable. If you are talking about those plastic rings that end up on penguin necks, that's because people are nasty and don't know how to keep it clean. Their mama's needed to beat them more when they were little.
