it is *shrugs* obviously not a poem; poems are meant to rhyme, should be at least 4 to 16 words or less. The title really doesn't fit this list of obscenities. "Time" includes the past, the present, and the future, so what you are implying is that even in the past is that it hasn't changed even to present day. You are not even a single bit expressing something about this list, in my opinion, some people might read your "poem" and say "so what?"... sorry to be blunt but that's what's inside my heart and head.

Poem's are many time's negative but this is not a poem there is know flow or rhythm.
As far as the dedicated morbid curiosity is concerned, try using those words to create a real poem.

Wow! I wouldnt' call it "Ode to Our Time". It's more of "Ode to Terrorism"...except for the CSI and Movie of the Week part. It's not bad...just not a reflective title:
Because...if it's the "Ode to our Time" then it's not truly reflective of it. What about the good times?

Little bit morbid, especially since not everything is bad in life. Maybe rename it to "Ode to the Bad Times Today". Also, with poems, my tip is do not mainly use nouns.

I agree w/your sentiments, but it isn't a poem--and it isn't a prayer, either, it's just a list of the bad things going on in the world today. Still, it makes one think.
