My husband did as a child. He WAS superman and jumped off the roof smashing through a glass conservatory roof, his sister called an ambulance, he had many many stitches in his arm and has a scar running along the length of his arm.

Our house had a flat roof and we used to climb up there, but it was much too high to jump.
