My dad told me he was going to teach me about the birds and the bees. He said "Keep your stinger in your pants and you won't have to worry about any eggs hatching! Now go outside and play".

My parents got me a book called "Where Did I Come From" which explained reproduction on a child's level (I was 9 or so). Then, of course, I had the mandatory sex ed in school.

I wonder if that book is still around. That was 30 years ago.

I had to learn on my own.. No one was willing to share. Use to wrestle with the boys and they would pend me,then got screamed at because of it. I kept asking what I did wrong and I got no answer.

I had older friends and learnt it all through chats with them. My mum gave me a book to read for Xmas but it was so old fashioned that I already new it all and more.

I figured it out for myself mostly. A few books in my parents bookcase helped explain, as well as consulting with other kids.
