It really depends on ISPs. They can do it, but whether they actually do it is another question....

Of course they do it. If the government want to track some terrorist's activities then they can use the isp's records. I'm sure they are required by the government especially at this time.

It is a federal law to demand ISP to keep your net activities for at less one month.
