The appartment was not treated as a crime scene, consequently it seems unlikely charges will ever be brought.

What do you think?

This scheming pair knew exactly what they were doing from hour one.If they destroyed the scene and caused as much confusion as possible then they knew they would never be brought to justice. Didn't they think a lot about their little girl ? How could they use that poor child in this way for all these months ,in order to save their own skins? I hope Maddy haunts them for the rest of their rotten lives.

Any decent policeman would never let the family,s view interfere with his duty to investigate. It doesn,t matter what the family say, as it was a disappearance the apartment should have been investigated in full at the time and no-one except expert crime scene investigators should have been allowed near it. This is just the inept police trying to pass the buck and the tabloids that are trying to convict without a trial

Not the McCanns directly but some higher personalities, including the British Consulate.

The PJ, being the investigative authorities, have no business being sidetracked by anyone.

I think your claim over-estimates the McCanns and under-estimates the PJ.

I am still convinced that they did it. How else would Maddie's blood be in a car they rented after she supposedly got abducted. Also why would they yell "They've taken her?" Who did they they took her? So many unanswered questions.

Morning Stormy.

It was the PJ's decision, they are supposed to be the experts. You wouldn't take any notice of someone making a decision for you in your job. It is a pity that they won't face charges. At least charge them with neglect. They can't deny that.

They are a pair of contemptible turds.

And the PJ are thick, don't they have a standard operating procedure for this type of thing or do they just wait for the 'victims' to tell them what to do next?

I for one would be so sick if they did not get had up for child neglect. Whatever they may or may not be guilty of. They are definately guilty of neglect. I have no sympathy for them whatsoever. They only think of themselves. What about poor Madeline. I too hope they are haunted by her dissaperance.
They should be made to pay

I do sympthized on the loss of their child. However, they should learn a lesson on looking after their child.

McCanns, nevertheless, would be charge on child abuse, because they left their children without care.

Surely it's up to the Police to secure the potential crime scene? You really can't blame the McCanns for the PJ's incompetence. The PJ are supposed to be professionals and, as such, should not be 'put off' or 'sidetracked' by what the McCanns had to say about the matter.
