personally i think he was murdered, i love the guy he was a great musician im a huge nirvana fan.

Yes, I think he was murdered. Too much mystery around the tests and around his wife. I kinda feel sorry that he had it so bad.

An unfortunate decision made by him . Yes he killed himself .
As a big Nirvana fan you are reluctant to admit to yourself that your hero in music would have taken his own life.
When one takes their own life it is often a split second decision one that is unfortunatley unreversable . when a gun is involved the outcome is more than grave as in the case with the talented Mr Cobain.
His music and energy continues and remain alive as long as poeple keep listening to it .
to the person below . "all drug addicts kill themselves" rather a sweeping statement ont you think . hope you never feel hopeless in your life .

I don't know if it's possible that it was a suicide, given the evidence presented. However, I don't think he was murdered, I think he was extremely depressed, in addition to all the self-medicating. I think he may have asked someone to do it. They may have been high or strung out, but there was not evidence of a struggle...not that I recall anyway.

He was having problems. He never wanted to be popular but, he was such a great singer that it was bound to happen. He was dating a very popular chackw***e. That itself would make me wanna off myself. Some people can handle fame and others can't. I hate to say it but, I think he did cause of all the fame he got. Though I think Courtney had a hand in it somewhere, because of money problems. They were probably in it together.

Many people are smart enough to get away with murder, but but not many can actually fake a murder to be something else.
If he was murdered, worse case would be the police will never identify the killer, but still they will know its a muder.

yes, I think he did complete suicide he must have been terribly depressed and thought the only way out of his terrible existence was suicide obviously money, wife, child, and fame was not enough to make him happy.

i think it was courtney love his wife that shot him.....shes a mess and proper fcuked up. i loved that guy his music was and still is the best!

Maybe he wrote that 'teen spirit' song' which made me feel that this song want to end his life , so he did it anyway.
