Tigers DON'T need a crossing - they can go wherever and whenever it damn well pleases them!

Because the crossings are black and white stripes. In case you had not noticed, tigers are orange and black and I have never seen an orange and black crossing! Besides zebras are usually docile animals and tigers can jump up and bite you!!!!!
