Ok i got 100 one dollar bills in a stack that is incased in like unopenaale plastic. It is a stack of $100 dollars. It looks like its a collectors thing. does anyone know what this is called or how it can be opened.

That's the way they're shipped to the bank. I used to work in accounting for a water park. Some of the money we receive was also wrapped in the same manner. You should be able to cut/tear through the plastic and then take it off.

If the plastic is like Lucite, such as a paper weight, then that is what it is and the notes inside are not real. Now if it is a soft plastic you should be able to open it by your hands, or a knife. It sounds more like a novelty item. Without seeing it I can only guess as the other here have. You can try also several coin dealers for they would know by seeing it.

It's probably lucite that they're encased in. I have no idea how to open it and get at the bills, though.
