I understand that doctors do get a lot of patients who have been saving up their complaints but they also need to look at a series of complaints as they may well be related.
if it was me I would find a new doctor - pronto.

I'd change Doctors. That's not proffesional and also risky to people's health. That's just silly surely sorting out 3 problems in one visit is quicker than clogging up the waiting list with 3 visits for 3 problems. You could call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 for nurse advice and health information. The helpline is open 24 hours. Also they might give you advise about how you can complain about your Doctor.

That's terrible, you should have on average 8 minutes with your doc, in that time you should be able to tell him all your problems.... even if they're not connected. You should put in a complaint because it seems that your doc didn't have the patience or conscience to deal with everything you were telling him (that's his job!), maybe he was stressed but that is no excuse for poor dr/patient relationships.

You need a new doctor. I've moved quite a bit and have had a lot of different doctors, but I have never encountered that situation before. They usually ask if there is anything else that's bothering me and if they don't, I let them know about all of my ailments, concerns, or symptoms. It's up to each of us to take charge of our own health care and if your current doctor does things you're uncomfortable with, find a different one.

This doctor should not be practising! I think you should make another appointment and try again, if he (I'm presuming it's a man coz only a man would do something so stupid) does it again tell him that you will be reporting him to the GMC. Tell him what a prat he is before walking out.

Your doctor is paid, by the HMO, per visit. He's trying to milk this into as many visits as possible. I have had an unscrupulous allergist do the same type of thing - he was less interested in getting to the bottom of what I was allergic to than he was in getting as many visits out of me as possible. Time to find a new doctor.

Not much! I have never stopped a patient telling me all their problems, in fact I encouraged patients to make list so that they didn't forget anything! Of course it was often necessary for patients to book further appointments to deal with multiple problems.

Wow, I'd say get a different doctor. Obviously he/she only cares about more money. More appts=more money on their end!! Another doctor would have gladly let you discuss all your concerns at one appointment!!
