You should discuss any concerns about your pregnancy with your doctor. If you have a private doctor you can even call their answering service if after hours if your very worried. Don't feel silly asking your doctor anything. I'm sure he or she gets asked the same question many times a day everyday. Your not the first person to have concerns about your pregnancy. Your body goes thru many changes. You should take into consideration how much the baby was moving before. If you felt it move once or twice maybe your just not feeling it all the time yet. If you felt your baby move all the time before and it suddenly stopped for a long period of time you may want to get the opinion of a medical professional that knows what their talking about. If you are really concerned you can even go to the hospital. Their used to it too they get pregnant women everyday too for all kinds of complications, even hick ups. Even if there is something going on you need to try not to worry too much because stress is not good for your baby. So get an answer from a doctor as soon as possible so you don't worry yourself sick over it and cause yourself more problems.

I'm 25 weeks and my baby's movement has decreased to almost nothing. I've been stressing over it so badly because it makes me so nervous that something could be wrong. Have you felt cramping or pains? If not, and there is no bleeding, you are probably just fine. The baby is sleeping most of the day inside of you, so don't be too stressed. I know that's hard to do because I'm in your situation.

As I am a stress head regarding my daughters and my pregnancies and births and life I would advise you after you have read this to contact your G.P or ring the hospital to speak to a midwife. I say always trust your own instincts where the well being of your children or pregnancy are concerned. G.P's and midwives are paid to look after you and the well being of your own unborn child. In the mean time to try and ease your mind dink a fizzy drink fast and sit down and relax for 5 mins. This always made my babies move however what works for one doesnt always work for another. I hope all is well. :0)

It might have been moving when you were busy or asleep. Drink cold fruit juice and concentrate on the baby for an hour or two. IF you are still concerned, go to the midwife or gp. I bought a battery operated fetal heart monitor for peace of mind when I go a bit paranoid about the baby and it has really put my mind to rest. Good luck.

ok im going to say to you, call your midwife and tell her whats going on, and ask her what you should do about this ok. i went through this last night and iam 28 weeks pregnant and i called my midwife and i was told to go up to the hospital and have it checked out. turns out my baby was fine, hes heart beat was great and hes movements are great aswell. i just couldnt feel them no more because his taken up his room. also the bubbles i was feeling way down below were actully his arms, because i found out last night his head was engaged. so please go up to the hospital. i listened to a gurl on here who told me to go up and be checked because she lost her baby 6 weeks before due, and the reason she couldnt feel her baby was because the water went to his/her lung and that caused her to loose that baby.(im not trying to scare you). please go up there and be checked. its worth it and its better to be safe then sorry.also one more thing when i went up there they put me on the machine for half an hour but i heard my baby's heart beat and that made me know everything was fine with him. good luck

Firstly, it is completely normal for bub to be having some quiet time. Sit down, relax, drink something cold. Give yourself time to concentrate on any movement. Please go to the Dr to give you peace of mind.
