I need a recommendation for a piano test, something very melodic and suitable for a duette, must be easy to play as it will be child student and teacher playing together....any ideas?????

Something like the Hungarian Dance by Brahms maybe? That's not too hard but sounds good.

Cannon in d minor, is a round meaning more than one plays and it is a classic composition and it isn't hard to play. It often is played instead of the wedding tune "here comes the Bride"

Try "Ma Mere L'Oye" by Ravel. Some of the movements are quite simple.

How about the Beethoven German dances?
Or the Beethoven four-hand sonatas?
They're not difficult.
