I used to be a singer in a rock band and found them to be distracting to my playing when they would try to rush the stage. But I have to admit they were fun back stage if I didn't take them too seriously. I think most of them were very lonely girls who didn't have the social skills or looks to get a real boy friend,
I now have a very nice girl friend that I love dearly and find the groupies annoying because I don't want to hurt her.
