Traditionally, bank notes around the world have always favoured the colour green. Green along with blue has been the colour of choice for a very good reason, firstly it retains it's clarity even on a heavily used note, and secondly, Green (followed by blue) are the two colours that have the greatest range of shades visible to the human eye. this makes them the most difficult to forge!

Currency i of many different colors depending on where you live and what country of courrency you use.
Remember money is just a bank note, a piece of paper that says you have "..." amount of money, and thus being a piece of paper it could be in many different colors.
American currency uses green for all its bills but countries like China uses, Red, Blue and Green.

It depends because in Australia, the $5 is pink, $10 is blue, $20 is red,$50 is yellow,$100 is green.
But in America the notes are green.
