I kinda how it has to be for a relationsfip to thrive. But it is normal to be reserved at first. But at some point you'll have to do it if they have done it and you want to give the relationship a fighting chance

Yes. Otherwise, what's the point of falling in love if you can't whole-heartily give of yourself to the one you love? You shouldn't only love a person with part of your heart. You should do so freely.
