What bothers me?

Is that when people think of teenagers they just think of the worse that were all on drugs and pregnant.I know i dont always respect my parents and small stuff like that.But im 15 and i havent had sex and i have a boyfriend im not on drugs but iv been offered same with smokeing and drinking.But i no that half my school had had sex and is on drugs but its really not fair when adults or people say where all bad because that isnt true does anyone else agree(sorry for the spelling and grammer my keybored is dumb).

Of course this is going to bother you. One messes it up for everyone, right?

Teens are rapidly changing throughout the years. Drug use and pregnancies are increasing. This is true. Some advice, keep being yourself. Don't worry about other people's mistakes. Instead, learn from them.

You're a teen. Of course you're going to disrespect your parents once in a while. Kids aren't perfect. Though, you should respect them. You'll be a parent one day and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Hey, if you're on a roll, stay on it. Maintain a good reputation and keep out of trouble. People who care for you are probably very proud. All in all, keep up what you're doing. It'll all payoff in the end. It's nice to hear there's a teen who is concerned. Take care.

There is something in Psychology called Reflecting. Let me give you an example of reflecting.

A woman is going to a club with a bunch of girlfriends, and on the way out, her boyfriend tells her not to wear such a short skirt, and to cover up her cleavage because guys will be looking at her.

The guy just reflected. He is indirectly telling the woman what HE does. That's how he "knows" what will happen. So maybe when these adults are telling you not to do drugs and drink & all that, they may be reflecting, because they did it at one time. Either that or they're paranoid and only believe what the t.v is telling them.

Not respecting your parents is not "small stuff". Now that that is out of the way, as the Mum of four I do know that not all kids are on drugs, having sex and getting pregnant, but there are some that do, and they tend to be the ones that are noticed. Well done on keeping yourself out of that scene.

I agree, what's the deal?
We don't all do that, but it's mainly on peer-pressure, and if you go to a school full of sex teens and drugs then your asking to be called on of them.
But to be given the label of drug users and all about sex is just plain rude. I don't do any of that stuff, but blame the teens that do. Something we have to live with!

You are right. It is amazing how older people forget what it was like--what they were like when they were young and how each person is so different. But I've even seen teens forget what it was like to be seven or eight. With luck, you will live to know every age. Try to remember your selves as you go along.

By the way, if you smarten-up your fingers you can beat a dumb keyboard anytime.

Your right I think that they are meerly stereotypes and look I grew up with plenty who didn't do drugs and got themselves good jobs and have great personalities I talk to them here on the internet as well. Just as long as you do well complaints don't really concern you.
