the influence of media (tv and others) is SO PERVASIVE on almost everyone this question isn't even worth asking. The only question to ask anymore is, "HOW have you been influenced..." And good luck with answering that.

I have in a very small way. At one time in my life, I did veg behind a tv for about 6 months. I gained about 15 kilos at that time also.
I find computers are having a larger influence these days.
Oh, and my child (4 year old) doesn't really watch any television unless we are visiting someone else.

I have indeed. Only yesterday I was thinking about the Count from Sesame Street. Children's television (especially the BBC) had a massive effect on my development. Anyone who rubbishes television as a whole is a snob.

I can't believe these kind of questions don't concern people. It's questions like that that make me not want to participate in Answers. One would have to be in a delusional state of denial incomprehensible by most people to believe tv hasn't influenced them. Just doing a lil fishing huh.
