I learned that Hitler had beliefs rooted from the Theosophist's stand on the superiority of the "Aryan" race. This stand also argues that the Semites (where the Jews belong) were actually "degenerated" and "materialistic" race which was an offshoot of the Aryans... (I'm not an Aryan, nor a Semite [by virtue of the Theosophist's explanations]. I'm just a little interested, 'cause I'm a history teacher...)

Ryan S hits the target - - - A Hitler was raised to hate Jews. The Catholic Church encouraged hatred of the Jews. Austrian Society encouraged hatred of Jews. Jews were a convenient target. As an aspiring politician war veteran Hitler found it easy to rouse a mob by spewing anti Jew word vomit. It was acceptable for a politician in Germany to blame Jews for all the ills besetting society.

A few important points just to clarify the record. Hitler was never a 'house painter' though it does work as a gag line for Mel Brooks 'The Producers.' And Hitler dod not lack talent as an artist. The University of Vienna rejected Hitler because he was the son of a Civil Servant, of the middle class - - -- then as now it was/is questionable if art can be 'taught,' in Vienna at the turn of the 20 th Century if a man is gonna play at being an artist he should be the son of the wealthier classes for surely his parents can support him while he plays at art. The University did offer Hitler a course as a draftsman which he rejected. In truth Hitler did make an o-k wage as a 'commercial artist.' In fact adding to what Ryan S said about Atheists & Unitarians, if Hitler had been British his talents would have been guided to cmmercial art unfortunately in Vienna there was no such option.

Troubled by mental illness, angry at being rejected by the University of Vienna, Hitler spent several turbelant years on the mean streets of Vienna and during that time he was 'entertained' by the anti Jewish rhetoric spewed by Vienna's popular Mayor Karl Lueger. Lueger held the view that Jews were materialistic & corrupt and determined to destroy the Catholic faithful in Vienna and was effective in conveying this distorted message to a receptive audiene....

firstly, hating Jews was nothing new,but ,to Hitler's hate....when he was a young man he moved to Vienna which had a very large rich population of Jews,he went to go to art school, but was told he had no talent so he ended up as a house painter ,when that proved too strenuous he quit and produced low quality tourist paintings that did not sell very well.he ended up broke ,homeless, and bitter.sitting in the streets he quickly resented how the Jews were so well off.he felt that most Jews made their money off others hard work,ie Rothschild's banking monopoly,he grew more bitter by the day.when ww1 broke out he joined the army and found he liked it he even won the iron cross for bravery.4 years later, when suddenly the Germans capitulated, common belief was they weren't beaten they were betrayed at home by the Jewish banking monopoly his hatred grew even more.when he took up politics he soon realized that by giving a people a universal enemy he could unite the people[ie. Arabs today in post9/11]and garner support for the Nazi party.

modern history might have been had Hitler been brought up as an atheist, an agnostic, or, at least, a Unitarian. Born and bred a Catholic, he grew up in a religion and in a culture that was anti-semitic, and in persecuting Jews, he repeatedly proclaimed he was doing the "Lord's work."

You will find it in Mein Kampf.- "Therefore, I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews, I am doing the Lord's work."

Hitler said it again at a Nazi Christmas celebration in 1926: "Christ was the greatest early fighter in the battle against the world enemy, the Jews . . . The work that Christ started but could not finish, I--Adolf Hitler--will conclude

And in closeing... ever notice in the concatenation camps it was enemy's of the church that were there?

Hitler's hate was a reaction of gross betrayal and treacherous attitude.

Jews were not loyal to the land.

You can't change the history! What Arabs have to do with Hitler or WW1. They were too weak to react in WW1. Read the authentic sources.
