Meanwhile, "Zionists" have nothing to defend. They're the first people in the history of mankind . . . a span of approximately 25,000 years . . . who, after being attacked, conquered and forcibly exiled from their homeland, have been able to return to that same soil, with the same language, following the same religion and the same customs that their ancestors followed.

That is the greatest liberation movement in history.

As for the mythical "Palestinian" people, they're victims not only of their own hatred and intolerance, but the callousness and intolerance of their Muslim "brothers" and "sisters" in every Muslim country around the world.

Before you go off on a tangent about "Zionists" having to "defend" themselves, I suggest you read the book by Joan Peters called "From Time Immemorial" . . . then we'll talk.

And as for those "poor, oppressed 'Palestinians' " their leaders themselves have actually gone on record with the following statements . . . . and note that the second quote comes from Mahmoud Abbas - the current "Palestinian" president !

Jordanian newspaper FILASTIN, Feb 19, 1949: 'The Arab States have encouraged the Palestine Arabs to leave their homes in order to be out the way of the Arab invasion armies.'

MAHMOUD ABBAS, quoted in Falastin a-Thaura, March 1976: 'The Arab armies abandoned the Palestinians; forced them to emigrate, and to leave, and then threw them into prisons similar to the ghettos in which the Jews used to live.'

The Economist, Oct 2 1948: 'There have been announcements made over the air by the Higher Arab Executive, urging the Arabs to quit. It was made clear that any Arabs remaining in Haifa and accepting Israeli protection, would be seen as renegades.'

Edward Atiyah, Secretary of the Arab League Office in London, in his book 'The Arabs': 'The exodus of the Palestinian Arabs was due to the belief, encouraged by the boastings of an unrealistic Arabic press, and the irresponsible utterances of some of the Arab leaders that it could only be a matter of weeks before the Jews were defeated by the armies of the Arab states and the Palestinian Arabs enabled to re-enter.' (The Arabs, Penguin Books, 1955, Page 183)

SYRIAN Prime Minister 1948-9, Haled al Azm, in his memoirs: 'Since 1948 we have been demanding the return of the refugees to their homes. But we oursevles are the ones who encouraged them to leave! Only a few months separated our call to them to leave - and our appeal to the UN to ensure their return.' (The Memoirs Of Haled al Azm, 1973, pages 386-7

History shows that it is often a small group of fanatics that get the most attention,

To say that al qaeda represents Muslims is offensive and wrong. In the same vein to say a fringe group of settlers represents Israelis and/or Zionists is also wrong.

I have even had the opportunity to meet with some extreme settlers even they at the end of the day want peace. I have to believe the same is true about Palestinian radicals.

Only a truly depraved individual wants to commit violence for the soul reason of hurting others.

no one is conscious if there's a element to life. this is a hopeless universe. yet nonetheless you won't be able to use desire as information for a author. this is an extremely idiotic theory. Secondly, an atheistic view is a much extra effective view. we are extra unfastened and autonomous, we don't matter on the instructions of a 2000 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous "holy" e book. we expect of for ourselves approximately ethical regulations. we want no dictator to let us know what's suitable and incorrect, all of us be attentive to what's nice and incorrect. as an occasion this is asserted interior the ten Commandments "Thou shalt no longer undergo faux witnesses" ok, so as meaning you could on no account lie. so now if i've got been a German guy and that i replaced into hiding Jews in the process the time of the Nazi Regime and replaced into asked via an stable am i hiding jews i might could respond "confident" in accordance to the the ten commandments. The Holy Books at the instant are not something yet made up issues 2000 years in the past. Love is a chemical reaction, yet there is mostly a deeper meaning. We purely don't be attentive to what that meaning is

Your term "Israelie (sic) zionists" is incorrect because all Israelis are technically Zionists (after all the Zionist ideal is to live in the State of Israel). Calling all Zionists racist is like calling all Muslims terrorists.

Most Israelis want to live in Peace with the Palestinians but can't whilst a Terrorist organisation (according to most countries in the world) is the official government. You can't negotiate with an organisation that has your destruction as their aim.

All you have to do is look at the daily reports of rockets being fired by Palestinians into Israel - as to individual acts of Israelis posted by Pallywood (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallywood ) - well we all know some of them are actually Arabs dressed as Jews committing those acts. As to Israeli Jews who behave inappropriately towards Palestinians - who can be happy about that? Frustration can be understandable - but not acceptable. Israelis aren't racist towards Palestinians generally speaking (although I am sure some are). Racist behavior tends to be the behavior of Arabs towards Israelis - not the other way around. Read the Hamas Covenant if you want to read racism in its purest evil extent: http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Hamas_Covenant

I am an American Zionist Jew here, BTW, who has visited the Middle East on a number of occasions, and has had relatives living in the Middle East (not solely Israel). Arab attitude towards Israel is appalling is is the sole reason why there is no peace in the Middle East.

Good Luck!!!

first of all - Israel defends itself - that's what you see on the news with the IDF - Israel defending itself from rockets and suicide bombers and terrorists - I'm in class but i'll answer you more later... anyways just fyi - zionists are not what you see:
I think the over religious setters are a bad example of how religion clouds your sight - and I denounce them for using violence I see them as bad ppl but you have to also remember they are in fear of the muslim surrounding, but that doesn't justify there actions...
what does justify Israel's actions is when the palestinians attack with rockets and guns and suicide belts.
here is a link to zionism so you can learn a bit of the people you so wrongly hate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionism

I would like to know how you defend the palestinians attack on Israel btw - and all the arab's attack on it in the last wars and the terror Israel suffered and still does from terrorist groups as hamas/hizballah etc...,

I don't really think a defense is in order. If someone is willing to base his opinion of a group of people on YouTube alone then there is really nothing that will change his mind. I really only strive to defend Israel to the more intelligent individuals, who are open-minded enough to listen to reason and disregard misleading influences (like YouTube).

Are you familiar with the saying "two wrongs don't make a right"???
I, an Israeli, do not have to justify my right to exist, but that does not mean I go out and hurt others.
Even though my sister-in-law was killed in a suicide bombing (while shielding my six-month-old niece), I still always try to be fair and see the other side. I read and learn about both sides of the story before I pass any judgments.
I suggest you do the same.

who cares. no matter what you do wither for good or bad people will always talk smack about you, others will be on your side.

that's the way life is. sadly, that's why the world is so ugly.

you jus tmove on to bigger things and focus on yourself..let politics be politics and you live you life, build it best way you know how too.

war, Israel, arbs, muslims, hate, love, blood, death, soldiers..that and more is not going no where. it's been before 1948, during and after. it will continue until be die and even after that.

everyone has their own opinions and represents themselves by what they believe it. its legit.

I don't think Zionists have to defend a return to their own land.

I think the Arabs have to defend their barbarism in the 21st century . . . but they could really care less. Islam is in their blood and it's based on hatred, violence and intolerance.
