There is nothing wrong with you, I started at 14 (all girls are different) it doesn't hurt really just cramps which aren't too bad for me anyways, but your ok, it's a little scary at first you just have to get used to it. Oh and by the way some girls don't get it until they are 17 or even 18 I had a great aunt that got it at 18 and a friend who got it at 8 so you just never know and other things to notice are your body might start to change you may start to develop breasts or grow hair in certain places, etc... don't be afraid every girl gos through it!!

Having a period doens't hurt. Sometimes you can have cramping that does hurt, but the period itself is just annoying.
You're only 13. It's okay that you haven't started. It's completely normal, and some people don't start until they are 16 or 17. Especially people who are very althletic.
I know you feel different because all your friends have started and you haven't. But it's not a health concern. Your body just isn't ready yet. In 5 years, it won't matter.
But look at the positive side. You don't have to deal with PMS, cramps or bleeding for days yet. Once you do start, you'll wish it waited longer. It's not painful, but it is annoying.

No need to worry. Some girls don't start their period until they are 16. If you haven't had one by then, that's when you want to go to the doctor.
Your period may be uncomfortable as far as hurting goes, for me, cramping kinda feels like hard core gas that can't get out. Taking something like Pamprin or Midol should help. Other symptoms include headache, backache, sore or tender breasts, bloating from water retention, moodiness, and just "blah". Again, Midol or Pamprin should help. You will probably experiance increased mucus discharge a few days before.

Don't be in a hurry, it will be here soon enough,
Just cause you haven't started doesn't mean your weird.
If you should develop any real pain or blotting without the normal amount of bleeding. then see a Dr,
also every one is different. My daughter only had on every 2 or3 months. when she started the pill her periods became like clockwork. also here is an interesting fact
when 2 or more women live together their periods occur at the same time or with in days of each other. as far as pain like I said every one is different. if you are in pretty good physical usually there is less symptoms. females who are very athletic usually start very late .

Don't worry about it!You're fine believe me!My friend's sister got hers when she was 15.It just matters what kind of body type you have.I've heard things like overweight people get their periods first but then someother sources say that it doesn't matter but don't worry it will come one day soon!I just got my first period on Sunday and I am 12.My symptons were mood swings and cravings for chocolate and sweet things like ice cream and cookies. The symptons didn't hurt but the cramps do!If you do get cramps then try oranges or bananas. For me I tryed oranges and a yogurt. It really helped! Also a heat pad or a hot bath will help.NO BUBBLES IN YOUR BATH THOUGH.They can give you bladder infections if you are in it for too long! Some people get cramps worse than others but mine are kind of off and on.Just try relaxing and maybe take a day off of school. That's what I am doing right now.It definetly works!Well I hope this helped!

That's ridiculous. Some girls don't start their period until they're 16. Most girls start at 12 or 13. There is nothing wrong with you, trust me. You will get your period when your body is ready. If you have started growing pubic hair and your breasts are beginning to develop, your period is not far off. Hang in there and tell your friends to leave you alone about it.

OK so Im a guy. But not all girls start menstruating at 13... some take longer.. there is no reason to it.. it's just your hormonal development to blame... but rest assured.. they will come. No you do not need professional help. If you are 17.. then you should seek help ..... but there will be other signs of a problem by then.
Symptoms are stomach cramping.. feeling bloated... slight rise in temperature and of course spotting of blood.
Does it hurt ? .. the stomach cramping can get pretty uncomfortable... and there are drugs available to help ease the impact.

A long time ago women get their periods in their 20's even.
But due to the pollution nowadays the age bracket has decreased to a horrible number even going coming to children of age 6.
I think It's a good thing if your period came somewhat late, they say that when you get a later period you also get menopause even later.

it doesnt hurt you may not know when it comes tho which can suck but after you have them for a while you might notice the signs. i got mine at 13 or 14. if i remember i got some discharge dark in color up to a year before i got my period. gross but true. sometimes no signs at all. but dont worry ive known ppl who didnt get it until 16.... dont rush you should not be in any hurry to have those wonderful side effects. like bitchyness, cramping, muscle aches, and not to mention having to wear tampon or pads it can be so annoying... i wouldnt worry youll get it soon enough...
