I read that a law in 1998 allowed the m to lower the age to 18. Is this true, and is it true for all Californian residents?

The legal age to gamble in an Indian Casino in CA is 18.

BUT... most Indian Casinos sell alcohol, and are therefore off-limits to under 21's.

I've been to some Native American Casinos and it really depends. You should probably call ahead if you want to go. If the casino serves alcohol, then its 21 and over, if they don't, then 18 is the age limit. Just in case u ever want to go to Vegas, over there the limit in Nevada is 21.

21.

It was 18 back in the 90's but now they are all 21. Some casinos let 18 year olds enter parts of the casino that don't have gambling stuff but most are strictly 21.

It's only legal for 18 year olds if alcohol is not served in the premise.
