You are not alone. I too would love to get lost in the desert. Again. It was so peaceful the first time, except for the damned rattlers and other creepy crawlies. Also, I didn't much care for having my raven black hair bleached blond.
On the plus side, terrific view of constellations and wind storms. In fact, my rescuers - I didn't ask to be rescued - emerged from a blinding sheet of sand which whipped me until I couldn't sit down for a week. Cheez, it was so hot I couldn't be bothered with cumbersome clothing.
Anyway, one of the rescuers was a real hunk whom I dated for a while. Until my behind started to blister. So I told him to take it easy with the belt, and he left in a huff.

I have too many dreams about getting lost on a desert island... and screaming and never being heard. I hate having dreams where nobody can hear me... so no, I wouldn't want to get lost in the desert. Those dreams alone drive me crazy. And I never dream that I have been found or heard.

Yeah I don't mind being alone in the Desert :), I am living there for such a long time :)

Much rather get lost in the city... I wouldn't fare so well out in the desert I am afraid. At least not on my own...

Already here man... lived in the desert sw my whole life... its a pretty place but... bring LOTS of water.
