Remember you are talking to different cultures and civilizations when you ask a STUPID question like this. We, in the USA, would have a cow if our parents had FORCED us to marry who they chose. We would have simply moved to another city and started a new life, in a new job, and new apartment. Having already graduated college, I am not surprised that she is not interested in anyone that her parents were interested in. I would think she has enough intelligence to be able to pick who would be a good husband. If you want to be a REAL friend, tell your friend to lay off his/her daughter and let her decide for herself who she wishes to marry and when. If your culture has a problem with that, then maybe the parents could arrange for her passage to a country where women can be free to work, live, and play in an atmosphere of liberty instead of having to live in a culture that restricts women and keeps them subserviant to men instead of having to pay for a wedding to someone she doesn't want to be with.

I don't think there's a way to force her, but I would try to find out why she is so against it. Is she being forced into this arranged marriage without any bit of her concent? I know that today arranged marriages have changed in some cultures where the bride has more of a choice. Try to find out why she is so against it. If she likes sports, maybe she can be arranged to a man who likes this quality in a woman, right?

I have no suggestions to help you. Where I come from and live, Women are not forced into arranged marriages. To my way of thinking, that is treating her like cattle, like a dog. That is not good. You cannot expect anyone to thrive in a situation like that.

a woman cannot be forced to marry against her will...u can try to persuade her but cannot force...nowadays many sucessful women choose not to marry for many reasons. they believe that marriage nowadays are problematic and there are not many good guys out there. if they r sucessful even the more reason not to marry bcuz they feel happy single and there is nothing wrong with that...she might change her mind if shes ready or the potential partner is better than her in every way...let her decide....

The question is will maximum of usa settle for it as some thing that individuals do (not some thing it incredibly is nice in many cases). as a results of fact usa will in no way embody the two one completely. i think in 2 many years gay marriage may well be oftentimes everyday. yet i don't see soccer displacing any of the activities that we already have.

Are you nuts? Leave her alone. Arranged marriage is not for everyone, to put it mildly.
