EBay for me, but I'm lucky as most people know what to give to me.

Hey, keep that wind-up flashlight, you never know when your power will go off and you might need it! We have one and take it camping, it's great! As fot the other stuff, if you don't need it, donate it to a women's shelter or perhaps some of the stuff could go to a nursing home in a nice basket for Christmas. Pass it on.

Smelly candles, I love smelly candles.
I would recommend your local chapter of domestic abuse, for the women and children. I donate all of my items to abuse shelters to try and give women a fresh start in life. Call the cops, they'll tell you where you can drop the things off for this charity

Many people would enjoy the thought of receiving a gift, you seem rather ungrateful. Perhaps you should tell the people who took the time, the thought and spent their hard earned money for you what you actually thought of their gifts. I am sure in the future, you will not receive any gifts thus relieving you of such a "burden".

well you could always send me the candles, kleenex, slippers, pot holders, dish cloths and socks. It seems like I never have enough of those !!
send along the puzzles too if the pieces aren't too small - can't quite see like I used to !! lol

Have to say I'm with Pat and Clare on this, I'm sorry you don't seem to show any gratitude for the gifts, someone may have even had stuggle to find the money to buy them for you, I hope they find their way to someone whom I'm sure will be very glad of them, The list you gave are made up of what I consider very thoughtful and useful gifts, I don't mean to sound rude to you, but I found this question as a very sad statement

Oh dear, now you know you were supposed to wait until next Tuesday to open all this stuff ! I'd give it to the thrift shop if you don't like it - they can make a few dollars out of it . Merry Christmas to you !

Take it all to the Good Will, or to a Church for a yard sale. There are lots of people who need things like that to brighten up someones day.

Oh dear. Maybe you better start dropping more obvious hints as to what you would really like for Christmas. I usually give unwanted objects to a local charity.

This is why I don't like getting stuff for other folks for Christmas. As you consider those nice gifts as junk and ole foogie stuff. I would be jumping for joy to know that I had folks out there that thought enough of me to give me a gift. I would love to get gifts like those. It is really sad that you don't appreciate gifts.

Buy some nice wrapping paper and ribbon, and wrap the items as gifts for others. Perhaps some of the items could be given to a hospice or home. I donated some puzzles to a hospice, and the residents appreciated them.
