From what I've seen, Democrats believe that premarital sex, divorce, and sodomy are virtues. Isn't it a sort of witch's brew of judgementalism and hypocricy for them to accuse Republicans of being as imperfect as themselves?

Personally I think Church and State should be separated. The politicians use religion to generate votes (aim at a particular group of people) for election purposes.
We must study the candidates see through the hype in order to elect the best and make sure the promises made are kept. We (The People) have that capability for this is our country.

It's called hypocrisy. Not just repubies are involved. All people in all political party's are prone to this behavior as are all people in general. It's called "human nature".
