I sent it today, this teacher quit on October, I thought he still
worked there but I called later to the school after I sent it and they said he no longer works there since October. Will they send it back to me or will they forward it to his home address even though he quit on October(2 months ago).
If he got fired on October (which I'm thinking he did but not sure), will they forward it to his personal address or will they send it back to my address ?

I'm referring to a small medical community college in a small town. Few students and teachers.

Do you think that when they receive the card, they'll look at the card and think that it's "unworthy" for them to forward it to his address ? It is not unethical.

it is up to whoever in the mailroom at the school to decide. Perhaps the administration has a RULE for mail to a former employee. Best to call the school and ask if there is such a policy, and if there is not, then specify how YOU want the item handled.

From what I understand, a College or any type of business is suppose to return the letter back to the sender. And in most cases a business cannot give out a past or present employee address. But you live in a small intimate town, so you never know the school might forward or hold the mail for the teacher. My personal opinion is that the school is going to return the letter back to you. I hope I helped in some way.

often, adresses of former workers are saved on record for a minumum of two years. Seeing as they inspite of the undeniable fact that owe him a "tax fact" for this three hundred and sixty 5 days, they are going to maximum in all hazard in basic terms forward it to the instructor.
