No. But in elections for school boards and other bodies which I know nothing about I may use their opinion if I otherwise trust their opinions.

Nowadays, especially with internet access, there is NO excuse for ANY voter not to be well informed. You can look up any candidate and read up on each one's past voting records, achievements, stances on all issues etc., those who rely on their votes being decided by celebrity endorsements, corporate endorsements, the media, families, friends etc. are doing all of us a disservice... As I've said before, this is NOT a popularity contest....this affects ALL of US....

Similar to a previous answer, I pay more attention to the newspaper endorsements in local races than I do for the major races. However, like many of the people who give answers in the politics section, I am a political junkie who goes through political information like it was food. As such, I spend a lot of time researching the candidates and following the campaign through multiple sources.
I use the newspaper for local campaigns because most of those candidates do not have websites and most of those campaigns generate little media attention. As such, the newspaper endorsement is some of the best information that I have for those candidates.
For ordinary people, who place political machinations low on their priority scale, watching one or two debates and reading the endorsements of their local newspaper is all of the attention that they can afford to give to politics. Our founders understood that day-to-day life would be more important to most people than politics. That is why they made it so difficult for government to do anything and divided power in so many ways. The voters still think for themselves (and some of them look to the endorsements to decide who they shouldn't vote for, disagreeing with their local paper on everything) but a well-written endorsement gives the pros and cons of each candidate allowing the reader to draw their own conclusion on what matters most to them.

I don't care who endorses a candidate unless I am the one endorsing them! Media would probably make me less apt to vote for someone!

You have to look at the newspaper's history. And see how much they're being paid off to try to get some good news in the media after falling flat repeatedly these last months.... Not naming anyone...

Well, if you think it's a smart move to have Bill Clinton and George Bush in her cabinet then I guess the newspapers got it right but I don't think the American People want 4 more years of buth, Clinton AND Bush...
