Ok my bros getting into working out so I figured for christmas he can have an mp3. The only thing is that I already got him something pretty pricey but I still wanna get him one so he sticks with it. Anyways , for this reason Im looking for a cheap mp3, that still holds a decent amount of space (maybe a gig) , can be worn around the neck, puts out good sound, and maybe has a few little bells and whistles. Now a friend of mine recommended the player at the bottom of the screen, but I dont think it can be tied around the neck. So tell me if it can, and if it cant an mp3 player that can and fits the above criteria. Thanks for the help btw.

I find putting it in your shirt works. Also Im teaching him martial arts, from experience I think something on your arm would be more annoying, but I may give it a shot. I find Ipods overpriced for what they are.

creative muvo v100 is pretty cheap(2gig). about 40 bucks. you might be able to find earlier models for about 30. 18 hours on 1 AAA battery. can be worn on the neck. there are AAA rechargeable batteries out there for about 20 bucks.
skull candy, or ear jams make a decent head phone. around 20. (comes with headphones)

I assume you mean an MP3 player?? An mp3 is just the music file.

I love my Ipod, but they aren't cheap. I've heard good things about the Zune.

And tied around the neck while you work out can be annoying. Most of them have armbands available that are much more conducive to working out than a thing that dangles from your neck.

i would suggest in buying the new ipod shuffle. it comes in different color. you can clip it to your clothes when you doing your work out, tangle free. it's light. its has good music playback. i guess that would solve the problem..

theres no other mp3 polayer in the market that small.
