They look good, but it's bad for the feet.
[edit] Three cheers Ro Vale. It's time people started looking after their feet really. 90% of the patients with foot problems are women: hammer toes, heel spurs, Haglund's deformity and bunions are all chiefly down to poor footwear choices. You can't see the development until it's too late.
Priscilla B, heels might make your butt look good, but they won't prevent you from talking out of it. There are no high heels with foot benefits, they all contribute to foot damage.
I have to temper this, though, with the aesthetic effect of a woman in high heels. High heels sometimes is ok, but high heels regularly is foot suicide.

Heels look great, they elongate and tone the legs (and make your butt look like a dream). And there's no need for hysteria. If you buy comfortable heels, in the right size, and are sure to trade off with wearing flats, you're foot's not going to become grotesquely deformed.
I love heels.

Heels make a woman walk in a certain way and make her look sexier. But its hard work on the ankles and calves and can lead to a lot of agony later in life

I think my long skinny legs look ridiculous in flats, but when I wear heels - all of a sudden, my legs look great!

It just *looks* good but not necessarily comfortable. I'm 5'9" and I mostly wear flats and thankfully the nature of my full time job (med assistant) doesn't require me to wear heels.

i do unlike heels. i admire ladies with tennis footwear and different sporty kit with which they might stroll conveniently. a woman is a woman without status on a shaky pedestal. i do no longer HATE heels yet once I see clever nude photographs of a woman donning heels it purely seems so stupid and synthetic.

yes, absolutely!
High heels are very flattering to the legs, butt, and walk.
Now some women may not be comfortable in them...but yes...they look much better in them.
I wear 3-4 inch heels every day at work.
But I must admit...I almost always put beauty before my comfort....I'm all about putting the grrrrr in girl. meow ;)

hmmm... I gotta say for the most part they do especially if you're a legs guy like myself. They just give a nice sexy punch to a woman's legs to me. I would love to say that it really doesn't matter, but they just look more attractive.
