Everyday is Christmas in Indian Country. Daily living is centered around the spirit of giving and walking the Red Road. Walking the Red Road means making everything you do a spiritual act. If your neighbor, John Running Deer, needs a potato masher; and you have one that you are not using, you offer him yours in the spirit of giving. It doesn't matter if it is Christmas or not.

Iam 100% Native and grew up on a Rez. Everyone i know celebrates christmas the same way with Christmas tree, presents and Big Meals. Is that different?

I know many people who are not Christian and celebrate Christmas. While the meaning may not be the same, it's a time to spend with family and share gifts with those you care about. They may not celebrate they way most people do, but some do celebrate.

Just like everyone else - being too materialistic and buying more than they should. Some folks have Native American Church meetings then. Navajos have shoe games and string games (not tied to Christmas but done then because people are gathered anyway).
