Not too often here in Indiana. But then I live on the outskirts of the city to, so there are many lights around. But I've always loved the night sky.

You're too far south and west. The Northern Lights center around the magnetic north pole, which is in eastern and far northern Canada. North Dakota and northern Minnesota can sometimes see the Aurora, but very rarely is it visible anywhere south and west of there. .

Nope, too many city lights where I live, but, I'm in the Upper Penninsula for Christmas and you can see them here.
