UCLA is a very popular school, so they can afford to be very picky. To get in there, you need to get almost all As, with maybe a B or two. They don't look at 9th grade grades, but they do look at 10th and 11th grades very heavily. If you really want to go to UCLA, your best chance would be to go to a community college for two years after high school, then transfer to UCLA.

lol as I said before dear,

To be honest I dont think you have a chance although UCLA is not an Ivy League school it is a very selective school which means admission is very difficult In most of your "core" classes you dont even average a "c" and c's" are not really welcomed by most schols on transcritps let alone "D's" You have too many cs and ds and not enough "A's". You will need atleast a 3.5 plus and an ACT score of atleast 25 to get into a traditional school like that with all that history. Your best bet is to continue working hard in school and get your grades up and attend a community college then if you have success there and maintain like a 3.4-3.6 GPA you can transfer in as a transfer student the next year, good luck. I applied to UCLA and got in but I had a 28 on the ACT 1500 plus on the SAT and I had a 4.2 GPA but my friend had a 3.0 and got a 20 on the ACT and she was denied admission so it just shows you how hard it is to get in and how selective the university is. If you work hard and take my advice you will have the opporunity to get in to your college of choice.

Who are you kidding? People too often underestimate UCLA because it's a large state school but it's one of the best in the country. Quite honestly you are going to have a hard time. The AVERAGE GPA for admitted students is a 4.0... and the fact that you've gotten 3 Ds!! No offense but do you not care about school or do you not have the ability? Sometimes Cs can be forgiven but you're going to have a hard time that you have Ds.

You need to make up any courses in which you received a D or lower. Work harder to raise your grades and try taking community college courses in the summer to help boost your GPA (a-g subject areas that are UC-transferable).

All UC campuses use the same admission requirements. The most common way to qualify to apply is meeting Statewide Eligibility where you complete the a-g subject requirements, meet the scholarship requirement, and satisfy the examination requirement. You can find details about each of the requirements here: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/adminfo/freshman/advising/admission/state.html
