How would you rate the outcome?

I was quite satisfied with the police department they did a GREAT job. But the state's attorney blew it. Even though he had witnesses and taped recorded evidence. His theory was that since one witness accepted money from crime stoppers then she wasn't a reliable witness and it makes her look like she put him up to solicitation to commit murder for hire. But I know he-the state's attorney- was more concerned with the fact that the bastard came from a *respectable* family that had been city business owners for decades.

It is not a justice system it's a judicial system, major difference between the two.

No.. My car got broke into the radio and some other things were stolen plus damage done to the car.. Called the police.. They wouldn't even write a report about it because they said it would almost be impossible to track down the thief... I was mad.. I think they didn't want to write a report so they can say at the end of the year that the crime rate has gone down.. Makes them look good but in actuality they aren't doing a good job at all.. Several cars got broke into in our area and not one report was filed by the police..
