I am looking for information regarding TIR: Traumatic Incident Reduction. I am looking for videos online via youtube or something that i can view. Someone told me that TIR was in essence Dianetics. Does anyone have any expirience with either? Enlighten me please!

Yes, actually it is my therapist who suggested TIR. I am interested but I am attempting to gain some further insight as to what should be expected.

Never heard of TIR, but there aren't too many legitimate methods for treating the issues around trauma.

I don't believe Dianetics has any empirical support. You should talk to a licensed psychotherapist and go from there (and shop around).

Dianetics is a book about the mind and how it works, and has a method of resolving trauma.

The best thing to do is buy the book and read it and draw your own conclusion about it.

It was written By L. Ron Hubbard in 1950.

Well if you believe Xenu and the galactic confederation, then dianetics make sense. If you're not a ******* moron, then dianetics is a bunch of bullshit that Tom Cruise reads while contemplating coming out the closet.

It is scientology. L. Ron Hubbard wrote the book "Dianetics". He was also quoted as saying "If you want to make a million dollars, start your own religion."
