Hating yourself is not wrong, you are entitled to your feelings.

But if you don't explore the reasons as to why you hate yourself, and you don't seek help for it,then that is wrong.

Ofcourse its wrong. It will depress you and make you feel horrible.

Instead work towards making your self better. Knowing your sins, your wrong thoughts and actions, in itself is a very big thing. You should be proud of yourself that you are aware of your mistakes and so you can try getting rid of them.

Following is a proven technique that works in such a situation, try practicing it. - Whenever you think, speak or act bad, say sorry to yourself / God and resolve that you will not make that mistake again. Mistakes will still happen as we are all habituated, but by practising this repeatedly (i.e. apologising within and resolving not to do it again, everytime we make a mistake) will gradually bring about the desired change.

Remain with your Divine self which is pure and different from your worldly thoughts and actions and you will soon experience the fountain of happiness, peace and love within your self.

How can you dislike this Self then, you can only Love it?

Hating the things you have done that were harmful is one thing, if you learn not to do them again. If you find you are getting to full of yourself go to a homeless shelter and vollinteer for a day. Do some charitable work, nothing can make you realize how well off you are as seeing some people struggling with basic life. That slap in the face by reality should show you your not that bad. Being who and what you are you will find ways of helping those people, and in finding the ways for them to help themselves you will help yourself.

I think hating yourself is wrong. You may have flaws but we all have, haven't we?! You have to work out the things that may seem bad about you. Know the reasons why you did, thought and commit sins.

Also, liking oneself does not necessarily means that you would become full of yourself. You have to know what you can do and who you really are.
