No, in no way. First it robs the narcissist and leads to a worthless life of vanity and pride Secondly it washes away any real love as special. Believe me, there Are no benefits to a narcissist this side of Broadway, except if he finds a woman that loves him anyway. Many women love such men.
I am not one.

If you are narcissistic is only because you see benefits otherwise you will be something else.

The ones that are not narcissistic are not narcissistic because they have a different perspective on what is a benefit tha you, even if it is in a subconscious level.

Of all the truly narcissistic people that I've met, none of them seemed truly happy. Behind that false confidence was usually a feeling of loneliness. I think people are like this because they doubt their own value and need constant reassurance that they are worthy individuals.

You can look on the bright side of everything, but in a way, narcissism is most problematic. We don't typically see it that way, but it's an attachment to the wrong things. We should all strive to detach from useless things, and concern ourselves with being better people for good's own sake. And being compassionate.

I guess the only benefit is that they really don't give a **** about anyone but themselves, so if anyone they know gets hurt or anything the ability to empathize doesn't exist....therefore, they don't care. They don't have to feel sorrow for anyone else because they don't know what that is. That's about it. I don't engage in any activity with those kinds of people. Life is too short for non-feeling people in my life that care about only themselves.

Of course! While I am not advocating being such a person, you certainly are more prone to look out for your own interests.

Yes! If you do for others and not for yourself you burn out and can do for no one then. Knowing your beautiful you should show the world, if only a mirror then it gets a bit boring. The world needs more beauty, you should head to Iraq and Iran and enlighten them.

Not really, as you know everybody is talking behind your back, as you can see them behind you as your always looking in the mirror.
