I believe in right and wrong
No, it is not a joke
With paths you choose , It is all up to you
That takes you where you need to go

I believe in trust
And that faith is involved
They can let you down
Though you just need to remain strong

I believe in wisdom
That you always lend an ear
Listen to what people say
And that you may learn along the way

I believe in miracles
That god looks down on us
He see our troubles and our needs
And help us out at the time he sees

I believe in wonders
Though you say there not real
They are things that are made up
And tell me what amazes me

I believe in honor
That you must show respect
To elderly and modest
And that is the way to step

I believe in artist
That have creative minds so
People need to create ant sometimes
To help this boring life move along

I believe in me
Which is honest and true
The reason why I expect myself
To do the things I love to

if you want to know what that verse mean well, I believe everyone should be creative and think out side the box. The same old stuff get boring and life is boring Most of the time so mainly i believe there should be more artists in the world

The additional explanation revealed it for me. The speaker is dismayed by many aspects of our hypocritical world because, "It is all up to you/That takes you where you need to go." I believe that is true.

And "always lend an ear/Listen to what people say/
And that you may learn along the way. Is this not quite true also!! Experience is the best teacher even though it teaches fools. We learn from others.

"I believe in me/Which is honest and true." Exactly. You must believe in yourself first before you believe others. That's where modesty comes!
A wonderful poem, if you asked for my opinion.

Of course, one deduces easily that the word is conjunction, "and" in this:

That, too, is very true. Where are the true artists to lead the way? This world needs more creative minds, and artists could lead the way.
