Mike Nolan has had three yrs at the helm of the 49ers and the results of his rebuilding effort has not made the team a contender. It seemed that in their second year they made a lot of progress, but in this third year have gone backwards. Also his decision to bear the brunt of a loosing franchise on a young number 1 QB Alex Smith is unfair and I believe did not prepare him to be effective as starting QB in the NFL.

Yes. Mike Nolan is a poor game manager. All the local writers question his game day decisions. He calls the game scared and conservative.

He's also a horrible people person. Look at the way he's handled some of the 49ers personel issues. With Jamie Winborn and Fred Beasley for instance. Both of those guys suck, but Nolan was so obvious about how he felt about them that he got nothing in return for them in trades.

That's not even mentioning how he's handled the Alex Smith issue this year.

The guy is a B.S.er and full of himself.

Hey Mike this once proud franchise looks like garbage, but at least you look sharp in your suit. How about worrying about your game management skills and player talent instead of what you're allowed to wear on game day?

Their substantial concern "i think of" is the offensive line. Their QBs are consistently below tension multiple the performs for the final 6 seasons I even have been watching them. JT Sullivan being a cellular QB seems to take it extra effective than the previous QBs. desire Martz will restoration the O-line. for this reason why they nonetheless war in making passing performs. As for Mike Nolan... he's not terrible, yet on no account a great head coach. I saved thinking to myself, they may be able to easily provide the pinnacle coach place to Mike Martz. I assume this may well be Nolan's final season as 9ners coach in view that my prediction of their checklist this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days would be 5-11 at ultimate.

49ers problems go way beyond Mike Nolan. I would not fire him for the sake of firing him. But, if a Brian Billick or other high profile coach comes available, I would look hard at it.

I even heard a rumor that the Big Tuna wants back in again. He can't stand he has now built teams in NE and Dallas and someone else had to take them to the promised land.

No and the reason being that last yr the came up to 8-8. i mean what can you do when ur QB is playing hurt, ur 1st round T.E V.D is hurt and ur line is terriable. he should get atleast 2 yrs and this draft they should look into Colt Brennan with the 2nd round pick. or a free agent linemen better yet a full line. i mean smith could be good if he had time to throw and also look at the Wrs he has. the bes one is a QB/RB/WR

Absolutely. I don't believe anybody could prepare Alex Smith to be an NFL starting QB.
